Christmas Bridal Session | Utah Wedding Photographer
Oh my heart! This was such a beautiful Christmas Bridal Session. This was the type of session that makes me love being a Utah Wedding Photographer!
Moody Winter Bridals
We shot at the Provo Castle right off of Provo Center street. Essentially, the castle is an amphitheater made of stone. The architecture was lovely and the December afternoon light was lush and warm. The combination of the location and the light created a beautiful, almost moody feel that complimented the couple, Oakley and Brae, beautifully.
Oakley wore a stunning black gown and had a feminine up-do. Brae had a wine colored suit coat. The color combination created a beautiful Christmas feel.
Keeping Warm during a Bridal Session
The session was cold! As a Utah Wedding Photographer, each season you forget how cold it really is to shoot a session outside. It’s cold, but the light and the backdrop can be really beautiful in the winter months. I’ve shot family portraits and weddings in the cold and I’ve found the best ways to keep warm is to have hand warmers, hot chocolate and work efficiently.
I love posing couples for bridals or on their wedding day. There is something so special about creating a life together and posing can truly reflect that special bond, if you have the right photographer. I work to create natural and candid moments without too much cheesiness.
