Sarah + Caleb | Albion Basin Bridals | Utah Wedding Photographer
Oh my goodness, this SUPER early morning Albion Basin Bridals session was such a blast to shoot. Sarah and Caleb were the sweetest and so easy to shoot. Sarah was a trooper, hiking around in her Ugg boots. Sarah is the sweetest and works at the daycare my little guy goes to every day. We just love her!
When we got to Albion Basin to start our shoot it was about 6:15am and the summer road gate was locked. I was SO bummed. I had read online, the day prior, that the gate was supposed to be open on June 30th, so pulling up to the locked gate was so sad. We decided to get out right by the gate and shoot anyways, because there was a few wildflowers. We had shot for maybe 5 minutes when an Alta Ski Resort truck pulled up. I got nervous that we would get in trouble for shooting where we were, but then I realized he was unlocking the gate. I got super excited and asked if we could go up the road and to my delight, he said YES! We loaded into our cars and made the trek up the dirt road to flower hill. It was chilly to be shooting so early, but the light was so pretty and easy to shoot in! We literally had flower hill, maybe the most popular location at Albion for Albion Basin Bridals, all to ourselves. I was feeling very lucky!
After our session I drove to my favorite grove of pine trees to see how the morning light looked. It was beautiful and perfect for shooting in!
