Utah Family Photographer | Albion Basin Photography

I’ve been a Utah Family Photographer for nearly 7 years now (how is that even possible) and this has to be one of my top 5 favorite sessions that I’ve ever shot. Everything about this session is just perfect and I absolutely adored this family! We shot this session at my favorite, Albion Basin up Little Cottonwood Canyon. I applied for the permits with the US Government to be able to shoot here and it was totally worth it. The light and scenery at Albion Basin is nothing short of magical. I just absolutely love being up there.

What to wear for family pictures

As a family photographer in Utah this color palette is my favorite. I love the neutral tones of everyone’s outfits, especially against the bright colors of the mountain views. I always recommend men wear a button up shirt and women wear a flowy dress. These shapes are incredibly flattering for most every body type and add great movement to images. I also love accessories like bows for little girls, hats, or even flowers.
