Whitney | Utah Maternity Photographer | Tibble Fork Reservoir
Whitney Fox | Utah Maternity Photographer | Tibble Fork
Last month, I had the opportunity to shoot this beautiful maternity session at Tibble Fork Reservoir. I love being a Utah Maternity Photographer and sessions like this are some of my favorite. We were wanting a really snowy session but this year it hasn’t snowed like it has in past years so I was really worried we wouldn’t have any snow. Luckily it snowed right before the session so we had a little snow.
My favorite tip that I always give moms before their maternity session is to wear a full length gown for their session. They are always so stunning for maternity sessions and make my job as a Utah Maternity Photographer so easy. The full length gown is not only flattering, but allows for beautiful motion and movement! Always always ALWAYS wear a long gown for maternity pictures. ASOS always has beautiful maternity dresses, and that is actually where Whitney got her dress.
Whitney is a wonderful, local blogger in Utah. And she was really sweet to work with.
One of my favorite parts of this session is that the lighting changed pretty drastically durning the session. The sky started out dark and a little gloomy and towards the end of the session the light was bright and harsh. I love that there are two looks to the images in the session and both are beautiful. I’ve really been loving a little bit harsher light lately and I think this session is the perfect representation of that light. And Tibble Fork always always always makes for a wonderful location. I have always loved shooting at this lake and whether it’s summer, fall, or even winter it provides a wonderful backdrop for beautiful images.

Hi, I'm Kayla!
I’m Kayla, owner and photographer. I started this business as a side hustle to pay for my college tuition and am so grateful for how much it’s grown. It’s such a privilege to be able to shoot with my clients, year after year. I can’t wait to work with your family!
