Berry | Antelope Island Family Pictures

These sunny Antelope Island Family Pictures were such a joy to shoot. The Berry family has the most darling little girls and they were all SO sweet during our shoot. Antelope Island is one of my favorite late winter/early spring locations. I love the bright light and the neutral tones of the landscape.

Shooting at Antelope Island

Last time I shot at antelope island I wasn’t being super careful as I walked on the rocks and I totally banged my camera against a rock and nicked the lens. Luckily, this time, I was much more careful.

If you are planning to do family pictures here, know that the rocks are plentiful and be prepared to crawl over them. Also, you can only shoot at Antelope Island from about November to April. After April the biting gnats and the spiders come out and it is baaaaaad.

Where is Antelope Island?

Antelope Island is in Layton off of Antelope Island Drive. It’s about 20 minutes from the freeway to get to the point that we shot at, Lady Finger Point.
