Our Story
Truly Photography began as a way to pay for my college tuition, but it quickly became something much bigger.
When I became a mother, I realized just how quickly the little moments become memories. I wanted a career that allowed me to be present with my own family while helping other families preserve theirs.
More than 13 years later, what started as a side hustle has grown into a team dedicated to creating joyful, stress-free photography experiences for families across Utah.
Because photography isn't really about photographs.
It's about remembering the people you love and the season you're living right now.

Hi, I'm Kayla.
I'm a wife, mom of four, and the owner behind Truly Photography. My family is at the center of everything I do, and one of the greatest gifts of this career is being able to blend motherhood, creativity, and meaningful connection.
For more than a decade, I've been photographing families throughout Utah, capturing the moments that often pass by too quickly—the belly laughs, the windblown hair, the snuggles, the chaos, and all the love in between. My goal isn't to create perfectly posed images. It's to preserve what your family feels like right now.
I believe the most meaningful photographs aren't about perfection—they're about connection. The real smiles. The genuine moments. The memories you'll want to hold onto long after little hands have grown.

I am a wife and a mother to four blondies.
I’ve been photographing families for nearly 15 years. Pretty and posed is fun but I especially love capturing the candid everyday life. My style is simple, light and bright.
I love all things design, being left handed and having all girls! I love hiking in our beautiful Utah mountains, thrifting for treasures, cookie dough, date night and rearranging my furniture.
