Alpine Poppies Family Pictures | Searle Family
Alpine Poppies Family Pictures are such a fun treat every May. The poppies bloom the last week of May into June and are just beautiful! They are bright orange and the size of your palm. I love seeing them spot the Lambert Park trail in Alpine.
The Searle family is just the sweetest and so darling to shoot. The OGs are the four girls and now they’re all married and two of them have kids. It’s been so fun to get to know their family over the years and to photograph them. I loved spending the night catching up and chatting.
How to Find the Alpine Poppies
Even if you’re not planning on doing Alpine poppies family pictures you should visit the poppies. They are on a trail in Lambert Park near the old Lambert house ruins. You can get to the poppies by using the the trailhead access point from the neighborhood on Boxelder Drive to the East of the field. From the road, it’s about a 5 minute walk to the grove of trees with the poppies. Here’s a map of the neighborhood. You want to enter from Box Elder Way, then to Prospector Way. The Lambert Ruins is the monument you want.

Hi, I'm Kayla!
I’m Kayla, owner and photographer. I started this business as a side hustle to pay for my college tuition and am so grateful for how much it’s grown. It’s such a privilege to be able to shoot with my clients, year after year. I can’t wait to work with your family!
