Where is Wheeler Farm?

Wheeler Farm is located at 6351 South and 900 East in Murray, Utah. The farm is part of the larger South Cottonwood Regional Park. Parking is easy to find and accessible from 900 East. The activity barn and the lawn areas make up the heart of the farm. There are horse and cow pastures as well as other animal pens located in the north and west areas of the farm. You’ll also find beautiful ponds, wetlands, nature areas, and miles of walking trails in the east half of the park. All of these fantastic features come together to make a plethora of beautiful backdrops for your family photos.

What to expect

Our photographers prefer to shoot family pictures in the nature areas located in the east half of Wheeler Farm. This area has big beautiful trees and wetlands that are just stunning anytime of year — but especially in the summer and fall. You can also expect to shoot in the early morning or about an hour before sunset to take full advantage of the incredible sunlight that filters through the trees.
