We loved taking pictures in the snow with the Jorgensen family. While outdoor family photo sessions are sure cold during these long Utah winters, they are also SO magical. We just love the fresh and bright feel that new fallen snow brings to a shoot. Plus, the snow creates a perfect neutral background. If you’re planning on taking family pictures in the snow, here are a few tips. First, where good shoes. We love the adorable boots the Jorgensen family is wearing in these photos, and we love that they kept all those little feet nice and warm. Second, bring some hand warmers. You can pass a few to your kids in between shots to help them warm up, or you can stick them in your pockets or in your shoes to keep warm. Lastly, go for a cuddly pose. Not only will cuddly poses create some really adorable lifestyle photos, but they’ll also help keep your little ones toasty and warm.
