1. The Utah State Capitol: the Utah State Capitol is famous for its beautiful cherry blossom trees that surround the capitol building. The beautiful display typically blooms the first week in April and lasts about two weeks. And the display is stunning! In order to capture the blossoms with out the crowds we recommend shooting on weekday evenings or in the mornings.

2. Peach or Apple Orchards: The fruit orchards around Salt Lake are such a unique location and have the prettiest light. We have a handful of favorite orchards that we shoot in and they typically bloom mid-late April. Typically the farms we shoot on charge a small use fee of $20-$40 depending on the exact farm.

3) Thanksgiving Point Ashton Gardens: The Thanksgiving Point Ashton Gardens Tulip Festival is a beautiful location for blossom photos (and flower photos in general). The Tulip Festival is typically mid-April to May and features a variety of blooming flowers. There is a $75 location to shoot at the Tulip Festival plus the admission to get into the event.
