Everything You Need to Know About Shooting at the Provo Orchard
The Provo Orchard is one of the best locations for blossoms in the spring. It’s easy to access, has lots of parking, and it’s completely over run by other photographers. It’s one of my favorite spring locations in Provo.
Where is the Provo Orchard?
It’s located on the campus of the Utah State Hospital and is right off Provo Center Street.
Is There a Fee to Shoot at the Provo Orchard?
Yes! There is a $20 fee to shoot at the Provo Orchard and the hospital only takes cash, so make sure you have cash for your shoot. In order to be able to shoot on the grounds you must check in at the visitor’s center and then pay for a photo pass.
When Does the Provo Orchard Bloom?
The Provo Orchard blooms in mid-April until the beginning of May.
What Color are the Blossoms at the Provo Orchard?
The blossoms at the Provo orchard are white and the buds are pink.
What Kind of Trees are at the Provo Orchard?
Apple trees
