Cal + Syd | Jordan Pines Engagements | Utah Wedding Photographer

I’m officially back from my maternity leave this week! Man, the time off sure went fast, but I’m super excited to be back behind the camera hiking around the mountains. For the next few weeks, I’ll be shooting sessions with my tiny assistant, Lu Lu. I’ll have to sneak a few pictures of her hanging out with me durning sessions, because it’s adorable and so fun to have her sleepy self.

This beautiful engagement session was my first shoot post baby and it was SO fun. I was so excited driving up to Jordan Pines for these Jordan Pines Engagements. Big Cottonwood Canyon (and pretty much all the canyons) definitely have changed colors. They are beautiful right now!! I loved seeing all the fall colors and the air was so cool and crisp. It’s definitely my favorite time of year!

Cal and Sydney were such a joy to shoot. They were kind and adorable and SOOOO cute. They made my job so easy. We all got to the session early and drove down near the doughnut falls trailhead. There was absolutely no one shooting, which was so nice! We had the place to ourselves. Cal and Syd brought a few different outfits to their Jordan Pines Engagements session which was great and provided some cute variety for the session.

Because we started a little earlier than planned, the light was bright and high – it was SO pretty. I actually was glad we got to start early because everything was so pretty with the bright and warm light.

Cal and Syd are going to make the best bride and groom. I can’t wait for their wedding day. It’s sure to be full of laughter and lots and lots of love.
