Albion Basin Fall Pictures | Archibald Family

Although known for its iconic summer wildflowers, Albion Basin is just as beautiful a location for fall pictures. Albion Basin is located just 15 minutes up Little Cottonwood Canyon at the Alta Ski resort. This breathtaking spot is quick to get to — especially in the fall when the large summer crowds finally lessen.

For fall photos, shoot in Albion Basin in September or early October. Although the flowers will be gone, the grand pine trees and dry grasses will complement the color palette of almost any fall outfit. At the Archibald Family shoot, dad’s indigo sweater and the soft pinks and creams in mom and baby’s dresses were absolutely lovely against the deep green pines and golden grasses.
