Albion Basin Pictures | Tran Family

These Albion Basin pictures with the Tran family were absolutely beautiful. While Utah offers some pretty spectacular outdoor locations, very few can match the pure beauty of Albion Basin. Albion Basin is located just 15 minutes up Little Cottonwood Canyon at the Alta ski resort. This iconic landscape has a couple gorgeous spots that we love to shoot at. The first is nestled in the most striking pine trees. The second is out on the flower hill. The flower hill is breathtaking. We loved capturing the Tran family here surrounded by all those lovely wild flowers, the majestic mountain peaks, and that soft light of sunset.

With this much beauty, it’s no wonder that Albion Basin is extremely busy. Especially in the summer when the wildflowers are in bloom. If you’re shooting during this time, expect traffic along the summer road, which takes you to the closest parking lot, or be prepared for the 30 minute hike from the parking lot located just below the summer road. But don’t let the crowds keep you away. Albion Basin is Utah beauty at it’s very finest.
