Apline Poppy Field Family Pictures season is officially OPEN for 2019! Run, don’t walk. These beautiful poppies only last about 2 weeks and I promise, you don’t want to miss them. They are SO stunning.

I met Maren through Instagram and then at a cell phone photography class I taught last fall. This past year I’ve mentored her and have gotten to know her really well. She’s the absolute sweetest! Her little family is moving to Arizona this year and I was lucky enough to be able to shoot family pictures at the Alpine Poppy Field for them before they leave.

What Color are the Alpine Poppies?

The Alpine Poppies are bright ORANGE and are as big as your hands. They are just beautiful! And with all the rain we’ve been blessed with this year they are more plentiful than I’ve seen in a long time and are just beautiful!
