The Great Saltair is one of our favorite locations for family pictures, especially when the weather is cloudy. The white, salty sands and the overcast sky create such a striking yet neutral landscape that will give your photos a completely unique appearance. Not only is the Great Saltair a beautiful spot for family pictures, but it’s also so easily accessible. The Saltair is located at 1075 S. 13312 W. in Magna, Utah — that’s just under 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City.
This shoot with the Johnson family has just about everything we love in a family session. The family’s outfits coordinate without being too matchy, the light is just perfect, and there’s a great mix of posed and candid shots. It was a beautiful session with a lovely family.
