Where are the Bonneville Salt Flats?
The Bonneville Salt Flats are about 10 minutes outside of Wendover. They are right on the border of Nevada and Utah.

Are the Bonneville Salt Flats worth it?
The Salt Flats are definitely a drive from Salt Lake. They are about 90 minutes west of Downtown SLC and are in a very remote location. They are very unique, however, and are definitely fun to see if you’ve never seen them. And they are even more fun to shoot at.

Are the Salt Flats Free?
YES! The Salt Flats are free to visit and see. To do a photo session at the Salt Flats we do charge an additional travel fee of $100, but they are totally worth it.

When is the best time to shoot at the Salt Flats?
We love to shoot at the Salt Flats about an hour before the sunsets. We’ll work with you to coordinate an exact time, but it will like be about an hour before sunset.

Are the Salt Flats Windy?
Yes! The Salt Flats are a very open and remote area, so they are typically windy. Plan on a little wind and just embrace it for your session. It will be beautiful!
