Family Pictures at Albion Basin are iconic in Utah. Albion Basin is the closest thing you will get to the Swiss Alps in Utah and it is just beyond stunning. I remember the first time I saw a picture that had been taking at Albion Basin. I was speechless. I couldn’t believe a location like Albion Basin existed in Utah and was just an hour away from where I lived. It looked like a dream and I couldn’t wait to shoot there. I feel that way every year as I anxiously await Albion Basin season.

The Vierig family was one of my all time favorite families. They were SO kind and just so fun to be around. Their girls were kind and so easy to shoot and mom and dad were just so great. You could tell they loved each other and being married which made my job so easy.

We shot their session at Albion Basin during prime wildflower season. It was beautiful and a perfect night. We started at the Pines and end on Flower Hill in the afternoon so the light was bright and pretty.
