Ford | Utah’s BEST Family Photographer

I think Utah’s BEST Family Photographer needs to be prepared and ready for anything. Seriously. I’ve been a photographer in Utah for 6 years now. Over the past 6 years I’ve experienced everything that can happen at a shoot, seriously. I’ve had angry babies that cry the whole session, parents fighting, ink tags left on outfits, babies throw up before sessions or durning sessions, missing buttons, stains, scratches, muddy dogs, kids throw rocks at me, AND SO MUCH MORE. It just happens. I’ve shot hundreds of sessions/weddings so nothing phases me anymore. It’s just all in a day’s work.

This family is one of my favorites. Skyler and Carli went to high school with me and are seriously some of the sweetest people around. I’ve loved being able to see their family grow and change.  We shot this session at my super secret field location. It is seriously STUNNING and has the prettiest light, but getting there proved to be a bit crazy. Traffic was insane and we all ended up being about a half hour late. Then, the road is a really curvy and hilly and their sweet little girl threw up everywhere right as they showed up for pictures. But you guys, this happens all the time. So Carli wiped her down with wipes and off we went.

The field was a little wet because it had been watered, but that kept it nice and cool. We got there just as the sun was starting to set so we had BEAUTIFUL light! Seriously, it was so perfect! Their darling kids were SO good and just went with the flow as we played games and took lots of fun pictures. I just loved shooting them all.
