The state of Utah is absolutely beautiful all year around. That being said, there is one season that I never look forward to. What season is it? Wildfire season. There is just nothing fun about walking outside and feeling like you’re walking into a campfire. Last fall was a particularly awful wildfire season here in Utah, but despite all the bad, we were able to find one silver lining. It turns out that super hazy and smokey conditions can do some interesting things to the light in a photo shoot. These beautiful family pictures were shot during an especially hazy week, and that made the light and the sun look a little red. How neat is that! While we don’t recommend being out in poor air quality for very long, snapping a few quick pictures in unique conditions can make for some really memorable family photos.
