Lifestyle Newborn Session

As a newborn photographer in Utah I focus on Lifestyle Newborn Sessions. Essentially, my newborn sessions are focused on your whole family with both posed images and more candid, prompted images. I love capturing the way siblings hold their new little brother or sister and shooting the way Dad’s strong arms hold your brand new baby. My lifestyle newborn sessions are lightly poses and designed to be a more casual, calm approach to newborn sessions.

Welcoming Baby #3

The Z family was just the sweetest. They recently welcomed baby number 3 and he was just the most calm little guy ever. We shot their newborn session at the Whitespace Studios in Sandy and had beautiful light with lots of pretty neutral tones.

What to Bring to a Newborn Session

Planning for a newborn session session can seem overwhelming but you honestly don’t need much. I recommend neutral tone clothing for the whole family.

For baby, I recommend:
– a white onesie
– 2-3 swaddles you love in neutral tones or prints
– a one toned, footed sleeper
– any sentimental accessories
– bows or hats
– whatever you need to feed baby throughout the session
– a binky (if your baby takes one)
