Squaw Peak Family Pictures | Turner Family

Squaw peak family pictures are my new favorite fall pictures. Squaw Peak is just stunning. I love the light brown grass and the tree line in the background. The colors are the perfect fall tones.

What to know about shooting at Squaw Peak

• So everyone calls this location “Squaw Peak” but technically it’s the Buffalo Peak Trailhead.
• The last 10 minutes of the road up to the trailhead is a dirt road and is super bumpy. Your car is going to get COVERED in dust, but I promise it’s worth it!
• This location is best in the evening because the tree line is in the west.

The Turner family is just the best of the best. They are salt of the earth kind of people and so kind. We lived across the street from them for 3 and a half years and fell in love with their sweet family.

I can’t even tell you all the times I texted Karlee about weird things my baby did to make sure he was okay, or meals they made for us, or nights we sat on each other’s porches chatting. We love them! I was so happy to be able to shoot with them!
