Meet Kayla

I’m Kayla — a Utah family and newborn photographer and the owner of Truly Photography. I’ve been in business for 13 years, and I’m a wife and mom to four (two boys and two girls) who inspire everything I create.

My arms are usually full — babies, camera gear, snacks — and motherhood has completely shaped the way I photograph. I know how fast it moves. I know how full it feels. And I’m passionate about preserving the joy in the middle of it all.

I specialize in bright, light-filled images that celebrate connection and the beauty of everyday life. I was raised in Utah and feel so blessed to spend my evenings in the mountains, chasing golden light through tall grasses, colorful leaves, and snowy peaks. The mountains truly feel like home.

Alongside photographing families, I mentor photographers who want to build thriving businesses while raising their own families — because I believe you can grow something meaningful without missing what matters most.
