Visiting the Capitol Blossoms During Quarantine

What a crazy life we’re living. I don’t think that can be overstated and while each day hold uncertainty I’ve so cherished this time with my family. Today was a gloomy, rainy day (which is my favorite kind of day). I have been wanting to see the capitol blossoms this year because they bring SO much joy, but I figured because of social distancing we wouldn’t get to see them. But, when I saw the rain this morning I figured that the blossoms would be a ghost town so I thought take the kids downtown just to peak at the blossoms. They were empty and I was so stoked!

We wandered around, played in the sand, and I snapped some pictures. We wore masks and honestly there was no one around us so I felt safe, but it was SO wonderful to get out and to see the blossoms I love so much. They are almost gone, but they were still so beautiful today and the overcast made it super easy to shoot. I just love these beautiful blossoms!
