What to Wear for Family Pictures | Summer 2020

What to wear for family pictures can be the most stressful part of family photos, but it doesn’t have to be. I love planning my families outfits for family pictures and thought it would be fun to share some family pictures outfit inspiration for you with some tips for planning your outfits.

Tips for planning family pictures outfits:

1) Embrace neutrals: I love neutral tones for family pictures. The simplicity is beautiful and they don’t cast funky colors on your skin. If you do want a pop of color, have 1 outfit with a pop of color and the rest neutral.

2) Start with mom’s outfit and then coordinate everyone else’s outfits around Mom’s.

3) The most flattering outfits for women are mid-calf length or foot length dresses or top with skirts. For men, the most flattering outfits at button up shirts with pants.

4) Accessories add darling details – bows, hats, earrings make outfits so cute!
