Yosemite Family Pictures | Oakhurst Photographer

Yosemite Family Pictures are an absolute dream. Typically the families I shoot in Yosemite are on vacation but this darling family lived about 1.5 hours away. We ended up shooting just outside of Yosemite near the town of Oakhurst and it was SO beautiful!

Yosemite is my favorite national park ever and is FULL of beautiful view points and locations. It’s an absolutely incredible location for stunning family pictures.

What to Know about Yosemite Family Pictures

I typically recommend shooting family pictures in Yosemite in the morning to ensure we can get into the park before they reach capacity. But shooting later in the evening usually works well too!

My Yosemite family Sessions are $875 plus tax. $400 is due to book and the rest is due the date of the session.

All the edited images will be delivered via an online gallery. You can expect at least 120 edited images. My style is both candid/playful and posed. You can expect a mix of smiling and candid images.

Where to shoot Family Pictures in Yosemite?

Yosemite is full of stunning locations for pictures, but my favorite spots are on the Valley floor of Yosemite and further outside of Yosemite near the Sugar Pine Railroad. And of course, I love shooting Yosemite Family Pictures in areas with views of Half Dome.
